Eva Marina Hotel

We had a lovely summer stay at Eva Marina. George and Joanna greeted us warmly and were always happy to help. Our room was bright, spotless, and comfortable, with a peaceful view of Crete's mountains to wake up to. The hotel felt calm even though restaurants and shops were close by. The sea was only a two-minute walk away, so it was easy to go for a swim or stroll along the shore. Everything was pleasant and easy, with comfort, warm hospitality, and Cretan charm. We'd happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The rooms are alright, and the hotel isn't the Ritz, but it's very close to the center of Matala. What really stood out was the care from the staff. They were incredibly kind and helpful, and lovely with the kids too. I travel a lot, and this was the best care I've had in a hotel. I'd recommend it 100%.

The hostess was so kind and generous, and I had a fantastic experience. It's close to the bus stops, just two minutes from the beach, and near all of Matala's points of interest. I'd come back!

It's a nice little family hotel in a great location. The rooms are a good size, airy, and each has a balcony. The bed felt a bit hard to us, and breakfast was quite minimal, though it was enough since we mostly just want coffee in the morning. If we return to Matala, we'd stay here again.
