The hostess welcomed us warmly, and her advice for exploring the countryside was helpful. She suggested eating at Vegera, which was a great recommendation. I’ll add a review of that unique place shortly. The place was easy to find, with plenty of parking nearby. We had two nice rooms with showers and toilets, and everything was spotless, including the front and back outdoor areas. There’s a small garden in back where you can relax. The beds were perfect, the rooms thoughtfully decorated, and so was the adjoining breakfast room. Breakfast was delicious and hearty, with fresh orange juice, your choice of drink, an egg, bread and butter, marmalade, and feta and spinach pastries. I absolutely recommend Harillia rent rooms.

Breakfast was homemade, with lots of healthy choices, and the service was friendly and polite. The room felt warm, traditional, and romantic, like being looked after by a grandma in a Cretan village. A really good choice.
