Niki Cretan Villas

The private pool made the stay even more enjoyable. The villa has a beautiful view and sits in a very quiet, peaceful area. Inside, it feels luxurious and elegant, with thoughtful design throughout, making it a lovely choice for comfort, privacy, and a high-end getaway.

Niki’s warm hospitality and the villa’s lovely setup made our week unforgettable. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, offering great ideas and even arranging activities like a beach dinner with olive oil tasting, a boat trip, and a safari tour. Kretan Niki Village is on a hill in southern Crete, with wonderful views across the valley and Sivas. The villa had everything we needed, including a fully equipped indoor and outdoor kitchen, great beds, a modern bathroom, plenty of room, and a private pool. It was all very comfortable and exclusive. Beaches, villages, and historic sites are easy to reach for day trips. Highly recommended!

We spent 10 days at the end of September '23 at Niki villas, and everything was still brand new, with the villas finished only in July '23. The house and grounds had lots of space and a tasteful layout with classy materials. The pool area with its whirlpool was a highlight. I hardly ever use pools, but I went in twice a day here. We stayed in the top situated 'Niki', which gave us complete privacy all around. You can't see the sea, but the broad valley and majestic mountains make up for it. Panos was friendly and helpful, and it felt like the villas meant more to him than just business. The sunrise-facing setup meant full light from about 7 am, and light still came into the bedroom despite the dark shades. We used dark fabric over our eyes and slept soundly. There isn't much shade before noon, though there are spots behind the front pillars and at the outdoor eating area. Panos planned to roof the front area to add shade. You can hear a little background noise from the road to Pitsidis, but it wasn't really disturbing. A couple of dogs around the area sometimes bellow at night, as they do near villages. The location worked well for visiting Komos Beach, Kalamaki, Pitsidis, Matala, and some inland villages. The wild, lonely beach stretch between Kalamaki and the military airstrip close to Timpaki is good for your soul. Thanks, Panos, for being a great host!

The owners were so welcoming and helped us with everything. Niki Cretan Villas is an outstanding property. I’d give it six stars if I could. They did an amazing job!
