A lovely place to unwind in a traditional Crete village, with really friendly hosts.

We've been returning for more than 20 years, and we can recommend this guesthouse. The hosts are very friendly, keep the rooms clean, change the towels regularly, and respond to personal requests. It's comfortable for families too, with well-appointed rooms and bathrooms, showers, large balconies, and a kitchen stocked with cookware. Right in the heart of the village, it's about three blocks from the market square. From here you can enjoy wonderful views over the mountains, sea, and nearby villages.

After a shower, the whole bathroom gets soaked, toilet included. The tiny refrigerator barely cools, and it feels like something from 1976. The balconies seem more like shared space for all the residents.

The people are kind, and the guesthouse has large, air-conditioned rooms right in the village. One drawback is that balconies for some rooms connect without any divider. Parking is hard to find, so it would be helpful if the Municipality created a public parking lot.
