Avoid this if you can! We were welcomed with wine and snacks, but the apartment and dishes were dirty. The view was supposed to be of the port, but actually looked onto another house. Internet barely worked, at only 1Mbps. The host was rude and even claimed we’d damaged the apartment, though the damage was there before we arrived. When we left, he also said we’d stolen the wine he had given us as a welcome gift.

Kokkinos Pirgos is a charming little town and a nice base for visiting the surrounding sites and beaches. The apartment was pleasant and well furnished for a short stay, and the air conditioning was very welcome in the extreme heat. The host was welcoming and responsive.
