The small apartment is centrally located on a busy, noisy street. Its French window opens straight into the bedroom, which leads to the kitchen and bathroom. Neither bathroom has a window, so there is no ventilation except through the French window and bedroom window. There is no blackout curtain on the French window, and the morning light wakes you very early. The kitchen is poorly equipped. The bathroom bidet has no faucet, so you have to fill it to wash, but that is impossible too because there is no plug. The house and its very basic furnishings date from the 1970s and need updating. The mattress is good, so you sleep well. The place is clean, and the owner, Sofia, is very kind and helpful. There is air conditioning, a TV without satellite channels, and free Wi-Fi. The price is average for a chaotic, noisy, undisciplined and dirty town like Moires.

The mattress was okay, but that was about the best part. At €40 a night, the value feels poor. The place seems stuck in the 70s, and the bathroom stays damp. The shower sprays water all over the floor, and at night I saw a small cockroach wandering around. You can hear everything outside, from cars to people.

The host was really nice, and we found everything from the description in the room. It’s on a quiet street, with a big, comfortable bed and a roomy bathroom. The furniture is a little old, but it all works just fine.

The hot water system didn’t work properly with the cold water. I’d booked one room but was given a different one. When I pointed that out, the woman told me to leave if I didn’t like it. She was extremely rude.
