The parking was called private, but access depended on the owner’s mood. He came and went as he pleased, and you could easily find yourself locked in or out. The room door also felt unsafe: it only locked with two turns, since one turn still let someone open it from outside. On top of that, the fridge was broken, the bathroom smelled of sewage, and the complimentary shower gels seemed to have been reused. There was no hairdryer in the room, so I had to ask reception for one. A truly awful stay.

The location is beautiful and the rooms are adequate, but the service was extremely poor. Breakfast was listed for 8:30, yet the owner didn’t show up. He also kept my group and several others waiting until after 9 a.m. to get out of the car park. Don’t book here.

When we arrived, the place was empty, with no one at reception, and the owner didn’t answer his phone for a long time. I’d booked a room with him through WhatsApp. Luckily, we hadn’t paid in advance, and a much better place next door welcomed us warmly. I wish I’d read the bad reviews before contacting him. Be careful.

Booking.com said I could cancel for free, but he charged me a 100 euro cancellation fee anyway. When I asked for my money back, he was bullying and had an awful attitude. Avoid this hotel, it could ruin your holiday.

The room was good, but I didn’t like the people. This didn’t feel like Greek hospitality. They seemed to care only about money, though caring about people is what brings them back. We were charged extra for air conditioning even though Booking said it was included, and the owner asked me to pay before I’d even seen the room. Very disappointing.
