The ancient ruins nearby felt magical, and the quiet off-season setting made this a memorable place to rest. George and his family were generous hosts. They even met us at the grocery store and guided us to the Villa after dark, which we really appreciated. A few things to know before coming: there are lots of bees, and the steep, rocky cliffside can be tough for anyone with orthopedic issues. We found it easier to drive down to the lower street and park for beach visits. The beach is pebbly and rocky, so bring water shoes. Groceries are about 45 minutes away along mountain roads, and the nearest hospital is no closer. Still, if you’re looking for a peaceful off-season stay, they’ll take good care of you.

George was a fantastic host, always easy to reach and generous with supplies, advice, and gifts. The house had everything we needed, from appliances and good air-conditioning to a lovely garden and a traditional wood-burning oven. The view is breathtaking, and the beach is wonderful. Simply perfect. Highly recommend!

We had everything we needed for our stay as three couples, and the villa itself was amazing, with a breathtaking view. Giorgio and his family even gave us a present. He was so kind, and communication was great. We loved it and would definitely recommend the place. We’ll be back.
