I felt right at home in this distinctive house. We had a lovely time and came away with great memories. In a Cretan village, the location and hospitality were both great, with quality service and a nice mix of style, privacy and comfort.

The bathroom smelled bad, and the room was dusty. The equipment was cheap and old, and there was no mountain view, despite what the room ad said. There are plenty of better places at the same price. Not a nice stay.

The host and owners were lovely. It’s close to the center and just a few minutes from some beautiful beaches. Wonderful place!

Maria gave helpful advice, and the basics like oil and salt were supplied. There’s a washing machine, shutters and air conditioning, plus easy parking and a lovely little pool. The outdoor areas are magnificent and feel like a village square. The downsides were weak Wi-Fi, a dark terrace, and a bed that was too small and much too soft.

Apartment 2 was spotless and very comfortable, with a lovely seaside style and excellent bedding. The main bedroom opens onto a terrace overlooking a beautiful patio, and the other bedroom, with two single beds, sits beside the kitchen. The place is tastefully furnished, and the pool is a real bonus. Pitsidia’s village center is charming, with nice shops and a sweet little square where you can dine, sometimes with live music.
