Nikos Apartments

I’ve traveled to almost every corner of the world and stayed at some of the best-rated hotels in top locations, and this is honestly one of the best accommodations I’ve experienced. It undersells itself and delivers on every front. The location for Falasarna is unbeatable, even though other hotels in worse spots may claim the title. But the host is what makes it so special. She’s welcoming, attentive and a wonderful example of Greek hospitality, and she goes out of her way to make you feel at home rather than like you’re just at a hotel. I’d give these apartments 100 stars if I could. I’m so glad I found this underrated little gem and host, and I’ll definitely be back. The view from the apartment balcony is magical and breathtaking too. Special thanks to Effie for her hospitality, hope to be back soon! x

If Falasarna is a must when visiting Chania, I’d say staying at Nikos is a must too. The apartments are great value, with a sea view and a spectacular location, and the marvellous Efi is on top of everything. Thanks, Efi ♥️, for such an amazing time in Falasarna. Ask her about the olive oil from her own fields, it’s delicious.

The room was nice, clean and spacious, and everything worked. The owners were nice too, and I had a good stay. You can walk to the beach without a problem, but if you have a car, it’s more comfortable to drive there.

I made a phone reservation for a day visit on June 11 for 150€, choosing to call directly so the hotel wouldn't have to pay booking.com commission. When I went to pay, the owner, a woman around 50-60 years old, asked for 150€ and gave me no receipt. A month later, I was back in Falasarna and checked Booking.com for this hotel. The listed price was 78€. This is the first time in my life an owner has taken my money like that. Avoid this hotel, or book online. I won't go back.
