Dimitra Hotel

The staff were really helpful and friendly, and the beach is close by: turn right as you leave the hotel and follow the way along. Breakfast is included, though it was nearly the same each day. The rooms are small, but that didn't matter much since we were out exploring the island. The internet was very slow, and cleaning was every other day except Sunday. Thanks for a lovely few days!

The design is lovely, and the hotel and bar are really pretty. The owner was very kind and helpful. You can hear noise from the bar street, so it may not suit people who are sensitive to noise, but we slept fine.

For a two-star place, this was much better than we expected. It's in the city center, so evenings can get noisy, and the rooms are small. Still, they were clean and in good shape. The staff were very friendly, breakfast was good, and the hotel bar was nice. Great value for the money, even if it isn't luxurious.

The breakfast comes to your table. For one person it included coffee or tea, juice, a large yogurt, a big bread roll, two small pieces of dry toast, cheese and tomato, plus a pastry such as a bun or croissant. There was also a small basket with butter, sugar, milk, honey, several jams and Nutella. The hotel is well placed for getting around on foot or by car, with shops, restaurants and other activities nearby. There is private parking behind the building when spaces are available; otherwise, there are plenty of spots on nearby streets. Bars and nightlife are close too, and the music carried into our room, so earplugs may help. Light sleepers might find it difficult. The staff were very friendly and we had a lovely stay. The hotel and rooms are a little old, but ours was clean and pleasant, and the bathroom had been renovated.
