We stayed for one night. The place itself was just okay, and the shower wasn't great because there was no shower holder or anything like that. In the middle of the night, I was woken by a woman screaming while talking to someone outside. It sounded like she was right in front of our ground-floor room by the garage. This went on for half an hour, along with kids running around, screaming, and crying. We'd had a long day and had no sleep to spare, so being unable to rest was awful. The place is fine otherwise, but they showed no consideration for the guests. It was extremely loud and carried on until very late. I wouldn't recommend it.
The staff were friendly and willing to help, and it's a family-run business. But after eight days there in June and July, I unfortunately had a horrible experience at Farkia studios. It's quite isolated, far from the Old town and the beach, though with a rental car like we had, you can get around easily. The toilet wouldn't flush when we arrived. It was "fixed" in two hours, then broke again the next day and took a while to sort out later that day. There was no soap or shampoo in the toilet, and the floor and surfaces were a little dirty. There was very little space for clothes, so we had to leave them in our suitcase. Rooms aren't cleaned daily. Towels, toilet rolls, and the room are meant to be taken care of every three days, but ours was cleaned only once in eight days, and the floor was left dirty. We had to ask for toilet rolls, which isn't what you'd expect from a "hotel." The place is also full of crickets. I wouldn't recommend spending a holiday here.
The room was run-down and dirty, and the advertising was misleading. It looked nothing like what we'd booked. There wasn't even a manned desk, so we had to ask a local person to help us get sorted. Breakfast was part of our package deal, but it wasn't included. I'd advise avoiding Farkia Exclusive Studios at all costs.
The rooms didn't look like the pictures online, which felt misleading, and the staff reacted aggressively when I asked for help. That left me feeling unsafe. I've traveled to more than 70 countries, and this was an unusually distressing experience. I can't recommend staying here.
A lovely quiet place with a big pool just opposite the Farkia. The staff were lovely too. It's close to Faliraki and Rhodos town if you have a car. Recommended.
