Esperos Mare Resort & Spa

We had a blast as a family and loved our holiday. The staff were fantastic, friendly, and professional, from the waiters, especially Vaios, Mustafa, and Paul, to housekeeping and the bar team. The food was delicious every day, with loads of choices, and the rooms, hotel, and surrounding area were sparkling clean. Still, the hotel feels a bit old, and some things are starting to look worn. Our balcony faced construction, which woke us at 7 AM. The hotel and travel agency sites don't mention the work. We were also disappointed by the Greek restaurant. We really wanted to try it, but it was only open a few days a week, and each time we tried to book we were told it was full, with only 8:30 available. Dinner felt rather late, especially since it opens at 7. I suspect the advertising could be misleading to attract customers and that the hotel may not have enough capacity. We weren't offered any compensation despite not getting dinner there at all.

It's a great spot for a relaxed holiday where you can take your time and just unwind. The place was very clean, the food was good, and the service was nice. The Pink Wave animation crew, lilla, jada, julia, clara, made every evening fun. There's a car rental nearby, laundry can be ready within 24 hours, and the spa facilities and team are fantastic.

The staff were the biggest surprise, in the best way. They were professional, friendly, and always helpful, and treated our 2 years old like a princess. Vaios was wonderful, our daughter adored him, and he made our stay even better. Mustafa deserves a special mention too. We spent 10 lovely days here, enjoying the varied, delicious food, clean beach, great pool, and good cocktails. An exceptional hotel.

We came back recently from a lovely trip with two adults and one child. Our room and the whole property were impeccably clean, and the food was fresh, varied, and delicious at every meal. The waiters were so friendly, and the reception team made a great first impression by being warm, efficient, and genuinely helpful. The entertainment team's shows and activities were brilliant, keeping our child happy every evening. A memorable stay, highly recommend.
