The grounds were lovely, with a lazy river pool, a large bar bool, and the beach just a few steps away with sunbeds and umbrellas. There are water activities at the beach for different age groups. The hotel is also handy for getting around: Faliraki Water Park is a 5-minute walk, Kallithea Springs is a few bus stops away, and Rhodes old town takes 20 minutes by public bus. You can book a Speed boat to island Symi two stops from the beach. There are several dining options. Main Restaurant "Ambrosia" serves breakfast and dinner buffet style. On some days, you can request a Shef-special cooked for you by the shef, with the choices shown at the entrance. Breakfast also has self-service at the champagne bar. Restaurant "Castello" offered AleCart Menu, and "Burger Project" can be booked as part of your package, in advance to avoid overlooking it. The food was amazing, with lots of fresh salads, fish, meat, and more. The pastry shef deserves a special compliment, there was plenty to choose from and something new each evening. The atmosphere was positive, staff were super friendly, and the hotel was very clean. Entertainment was pleasant, though on some days it was split with sister Hotel Esperos Mare, which is on the same grounds and linked by a corridor. Staff speak German and English as well as native Greek. My daughter and I both used the SPA facilities and had full body massages at the same time in one room, with therapists Martha and Vivian. A couple of things felt odd. My 9y old daughter and I were assigned Room 152, directly above a smoking area. The balcony doors help, but smoke came into the room if left open. We're not a smoking family, so it bothered us somewhat. Next time, I'd suggest avoiding this room if you're a non-smoker or travelling with kids. I was also surprised that my request for a complimentary sea view upgrade was denied. The booking confirmation says a complimentary upgrade is subject to availability. Surely there were sea view rooms free during the last second week before season closing, but sadly we didn't get one. Still, it was a nice hotel, and I'd recommend it to family and friends.

What made our stay at Esperos Palace Resort special was how kind and attentive everyone was. Andreas at reception went above and beyond to make us feel at home and helped us with a late checkout. The resort is great for kids, which made our family trip more enjoyable, and we left with lovely memories, hoping to return next year. The rooms were clean and spacious, the beds comfortable, and the grounds and resort spotless. The amenities and pools were excellent, the food was delicious, and everything felt welcoming and comfortable. Thank you so much!

The food choices were very limited, and drinks cost a lot. The atmosphere also felt strange and gloomy. They allow people who aren't hotel guests in, and some of them were loud, rude and badly behaved. I'm sharing this honestly so others know. There are much nicer hotels to stay at.

The biggest drawback for us was the location. There's no welcoming stretch of bars or tavernas nearby, and the busy road made the area feel a bit industrial and untidy, with litter around. Buses came regularly, but if they were full, they sometimes drove straight past. Our Uber app didn't work well, and the hotel-booked taxis felt expensive: €24 one way to Rhodes Town. Lindos Beach, by comparison, had a pleasant little waterfront with places to eat and drink. If you want to explore the area, this hotel isn't ideal. If you're happy staying around the grounds and beach, it could suit you. A beach-facing room might be preferable, though you won't see the sunset from it. We spent seven nights, from Sept 26th-Oct 3rd, in a fifth-floor twin room facing the garden. It was dated but clean and tidy, with the basic facilities we needed. We found it generally peaceful and didn't hear much traffic, though the so-called garden rooms look onto the main road between Faliraki and Rhodes Town, which gets busy with traffic, buses and delivery vehicles. The pool and garden were attractive and well kept, and we had no trouble finding sun loungers. The beach was easy to reach and looked after well, although it wasn't fully sandy. The entrance to the sea was rocky at first, then became sandy. Inside, the hotel felt better maintained than the Espiredes hotel next door. Reception was very clean but rather bland and could use plants or artwork. The dining room was nicely set up, and the food was plentiful and well prepared. Staff were friendly, and the Head Chef was happy to show us the vegan options. I wasn't sure all the labels were right, though, since crab salad was marked vegan, so check carefully if that matters to you. Drinks were pricey too, €3.5 for bottled water and €6 for a 330ml beer.

We stayed four nights in August 2025, and the rooms were spacious. Housekeeping did a great job every day. The facilities were better than we expected, especially the pool, private beach and lazy river. There were water sports and a volleyball net at the beach, plus a call button to bring a waiter over. Breakfast was one of the best we've had. Dinner didn't work for us because of our kosher dietary restrictions, though I expect most guests would find something they like. The small supermarket was handy for our needs, and parking was free with plenty of space. The gym was the one real disappointment. For a four-night stay, I wished there had been even a basic free weights area or bench. There were just four machines, two treadmills and two bikes. We'd still love to come back. It was a dreamy hotel for us.
