Grecotel LUXME Dama Dama

We spent our second wedding anniversary here and had a good time. The communal areas were spotless, and the balcony was a good size with a distant view of the hills and the sea. Our room looked nice at first, though a few parts were dated. It was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom felt cramped once we were both in it. There was a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us. We arrived at about 10:30 pm. Reception welcomed us warmly, took our bags and directed us to the lobby bar. They offered a drink and mentioned food at the snack bar, so we felt looked after from the start. Breakfast could be eaten indoors or outside, and had plenty of options, including eggs cooked five ways. Even fussy eaters should find something, though it would’ve been nice to have sausage choices beyond the mostly hot-dog-style ones. The main restaurant had a good range at lunch and dinner, with pizza, hot meats, fish, salads, cheeses, cold meats and occasional themed meals. The beach restaurant had less choice, but still more than the usual burgers and chips. We tried the Asian and Italian à la carte restaurants, and both the food and service were excellent. Branded alcohol was available, and cocktails were made to order. When the bars were busy, we were asked to sit down and someone came over, which was fine. The beach and lobby bar teams worked hard. The beach was okay, but it wasn’t all sand and getting into the sea was tricky, so sea shoes are a must. There’s a nearby market where you can get some if you forget, and it’s worth a look for other things too. Twice, waiting staff left us at our table without a drink. When they served the next table, it felt as though they’d seen us come in and ignored us. Otherwise, we left with a nice memory of Rhodes. It was quite expensive for what we got, so we’re undecided about returning. If we do, we’d probably choose one of the bungalows.

Dear LUX ME Dama Dama Team, Thank you for making our stay so lovely. The hotel is beautiful, from the rooms and bars to the restaurants, pool and beach, and we thought the food and drinks were amazing. What really made it special was the staff. Everyone was friendly, smiling and keen to help with our wishes. A special thank you to the Animation Team, especially Diego, Iris and the two gentlemen whose names we unfortunately didn’t get. We’d definitely come back. The beach bar was excellent, and there was a wide selection of good food and drinks around the hotel. The facilities were amazing, and the staff were very friendly.

We had a great family stay in a really nice pool-view bungalow apartment. The food was delicious, and the bartenders were pros. It costs quite a bit more than other all-inclusive hotels, but I think it’s worth paying the extra. Highly recommended!
