After just two days, we left and booked another hotel. It cost us extra, but was absolutely worth it because we never felt safe or welcome here. In all my stays at simple accommodations, this was by far the worst. The place felt neglected, unhygienic, and unfriendly. Our first room was in poor condition: dusty, with a broken toilet seat and a showerhead we had to hold by hand. The air conditioning unit was filthy and blew dust into the room. We found cockroaches and even bed bugs. There were hairs on the bed, the sheets and towels weren't clean, and the room smelled unpleasant. There were many cockroaches and other pests around the pool too, making it impossible to relax. We only got another room after a lot of insisting, though that should have happened straight away. We never got fresh towels, and the cleaning was very poor. The hotel is outside the city, so a car is absolutely necessary. Staff were unfriendly, rarely greeted us, and gave the impression that money mattered more than hospitality. Dimitri was especially rude. This was a deeply disappointing experience.

The pool area was quite nice and quiet most of the time. The location felt a bit sketchy, and the rooms weren't great. Customer service was okay, the staff were nice, but there weren't many of them and they didn't really seem to know what was going on.

The hotel has a gorgeous pool and garden, and all the staff were lovely and willing to help. I really enjoyed my week and would go back without hesitation. The kitchen in the rooms is a bit short on equipment, though. If you want to cook for yourself, one pan, two forks, and a single knife aren't enough.

The family running the hotel were very helpful, and the staff were friendly with amazing service. Everything was clean and well kept. We stayed upstairs, where the room was pleasant, nicely furnished, and had enough space to be comfortable. We'll definitely book again!

The lobby looks nice, but arriving at the room felt like being cheated. The beds were terrible, the bathrooms disgusting and smelly, and if you arrived after sunset and wanted warm shower water, you had to argue with the staff. They could've spent money on an extra mattress for the beds instead of making the lobby look fancy during the renovation.
