Sevastos Studios

I really enjoyed my stay, and the staff made me comfortable, so my thanks to them. The place is small and easy to get around, with facilities that suit its size. Hotel upkeep and cleanliness were good for a family run place. The staff were lovely, though a few were a little dry, but still welcoming. Rooms are basic, functional, and clean, with a decent amount of space for two and a decent balcony. Beds are fine. The AC worked well, but costs extra and only runs while you're in the room. Hot water could be hard to get, possibly because of other guests' use or the solar supply. The TV remote didn't work, though I preferred my tablet anyway. Food and drink are available at limited times from the hotel and the food hut by the bar. I'm not sure how accessible it is for people with mobility needs, so that may need checking. I'd come back depending on price and availability, and would recommend it to budget travelers who want to stay a little away from the main attractions and use it as a base to explore the island. If you want to be closer to the action or have accessibility needs, it might not suit. For the price I paid, it was five stars.

The food was fab, the owners were really friendly, and the pool was just the right size with lots of loungers. Beach and town are a lovely, safe 10-15 minute walk away. The studios are fabulous, quiet, and relaxed. A small hotel was being built next to Sevastos Studios, but it's now finished and painted white, which makes the area look very pretty. Best holiday ever. A+.

The location was good, quiet around the pool during the day, and not too far from the strip. We stayed a week, and the first room wasn't the one we'd booked, but the staff moved us when we spoke to them. The replacement was perfect, clean, spacious, and had super comfortable beds. Staff were lovely, and food and drinks were reasonably priced. My favorite staff member was Millie the dog 😊🤣. A few more umbrellas around the pool would help, but that's about it. Thanks, guys x

The bar staff were lovely and helpful, and the little food van served tasty meals at fair prices. Our room in the New block was airy, with comfortable beds and pillows, and we got a warm welcome from jiannis. But by day eight of our two-week stay, our room and the kids’ room still hadn’t been cleaned. We’d received fresh towels just once, after repeatedly asking. My wife ended up cleaning both rooms herself and fetching clean bedding from the laundry cupboard outside our room. I’ve been coming to Rhodes for over 30 years and have never had to pay extra for air conditioning before. The hotel itself was fine apart from the lack of cleaning, and everything else was okay.
