The courtyard is gorgeous, and from the terrace you get a lovely view over the village and mountains. Giannakis country house is spotless, with the feel of an ancestral home but all the modern conveniences, including great Wi-Fi. It’s just steps from the square and close to a beautiful church, so getting around is easy. The owners are wonderful, too. I’m partial to Filoti, Naxos: I love the people, food, energy, and tranquility.
