Hotel Finikounda

A shower or courtesy room for guests leaving late would be a real plus. Lots of flights back are in the evening, so after checking out at noon and spending the afternoon at the beach, it would be nice to shower before departure. The rooms are a bit small, and the nearby church bells will wake you in the morning. Still, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, and the hotel was refurbished this year. It’s close to the beach, supermarket, and main places to eat. Air con and a safe are included, unlike at some other 2- or 3-star hotels in Greece.

Maria and her husband made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Breakfast had a good range of choices, and the sheets and towels were fresh every other day. The rooms weren’t the biggest we’ve stayed in, but they were comfortable. The shower was excellent, with plenty of hot water any time of day. We stayed for a week, and it was everything we expected and more.

We had a great stay and will be back. The small apartments were great, and the staff made us feel welcome. They only serve breakfast, but the selection they do have is more than enough. Rooms were cleaned every day, towels included. I’d recommend this place.

Maria, yannis and Effe gave us such a friendly welcome and couldn’t do enough to help. Breakfast had a great choice, from cereal to fruit and pastries, and the coffee was awesome. You’re less than a minute’s walk from the beach and restaurants. The hotel has just been refurbished, and it was way above my expectations. The rooms are clean and contemporary, the bathrooms are amazing, and the rain shower has a handheld one as well. Toiletries are good quality, and there’s a kettle, fridge, hair dryer, and AC in the room. Ignore previous reviews.
