Almyra Hotel

The Almyra Hotel has been my luxurious escape ever since our first visit four years ago, and I’ve wanted to come back ever since. Its position above Fiscardo gives it a stunning outlook, and the serene atmosphere makes it easy to relax. The rooms are beautifully designed, while the pool and dining area are lovely places to unwind. Service is friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. I absolutely love this hotel and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for elegance, comfort, and charm in Fiscardo.

The team were incredibly friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome from the start. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from Fiskardo, with a restaurant about halfway along. There’s a shuttle bus, though we usually walked back up the hill, and a torch is safest. Jerusalem beach, which the hotel recommended, is a €17 taxi ride away. It’s larger than the small, stony local beaches, with sunbeds and an excellent taverna. Our room had spectacular views, and the furnished bar and dining spaces, shaded outdoor seating, and clean pool were all comfortable. The pool is a decent size, about 15m, with enough seats and sunbeds. Breakfast and lunch were good too.

The sea view rooms are a must. Waking up to that view every morning is a dream. The room, pool, restaurant, and bar areas were clean and problem-free. Fiskardo is about a 20 minute walk downhill, with a similar uphill walk back, or you can use the free shuttle at scheduled times, which is handy if you’ve had a drink. The staff are amazing, friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Highly recommend the hotel, and we’ll definitely return.

We’ve stayed at the Almyra a few times, and Eleni and her staff always give us a warm welcome. They’re happy to do whatever they can to make the stay relaxing. The rooms and shared areas are consistently clean, and the terrace views are amazing. It should be a five star hotel.
