It was okay.

After a terrible stay in Volos, we stumbled across this place when we needed somewhere to rest. The couple running it were easily the best hosts we’ve ever had. Kostas offered to take us to and from the village, and when I got sick, Katerina brought me tea and looked after me. Those little gestures mean a lot and aren’t forgotten. The whole place was spotless and felt like a simple, warm home.

Makrinitsa is a little uphill from the accommodation, but Mrs. Katerina was always happy to give us a lift. The room was very clean and had a wonderful view, and breakfast was plentiful. Our hosts were kind and ready to help, both with getting us to and from the property and with suggestions for places to visit. We had an excellent stay.

Mr. Kostas and Mrs. Katerina were so kind and helpful, always ready with a smile and advice about the area. My stay was excellent in every way. The room was spotless and had all the amenities I needed. I’d definitely choose it again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality accommodation in Makrinitsa.

We had a really nice three days around August 15th. The guesthouse was perfect, with a lovely view and wonderful hosts. Kostas and Katerina were pleasant, helpful, kind, and so hospitable.
