The rooms were smart and the bathroom decent, though a little small for a truly five-star hotel. The shower was great. They were making an effort in the restaurant, and service was good. Greek night was a lovely treat on arrival, I'd recommend it. Breakfast is served elsewhere, with stunning views, though the options could be better. Still, I was quite happy with it, and service was good again. I didn't get a chance to use the tennis court, but it looked in great shape. The gym needs a lot of work. The running machines should definitely be replaced, and the one I used didn't feel safe. The outdoor areas looked okay, though they're no good in the rain. The hotel itself was lovely, especially the pool, one of the nicest I've seen. There are great facilities around it for relaxing and having a drink, plus a wonderful path down to the sea, which was much warmer than the pool. Chairs are screwed into the rocks, and in the beautiful blue water little fish swam around our feet. It may be worth hiring a car to get around the island, although I could happily have stayed at the hotel for a week with the odd shuttle to Fiskardo. Parking is limited and a bit tricky. If arriving at night, call 9 and ask reception to pick you up. There are no illuminated signs, so it's hard to work out where to go. The place isn't lit enough after dark, but that's a minor gripe. The layout is very simple once you know where everything is.

The food was phenomenal, and the setting for our wedding was magical. Everything was perfect, and we're so grateful for the hotel's support. Special thanks to Theodorakis for making sure the day ran smoothly.

The grounds are beautiful, the views fantastic, and there's a lovely little public beach nearby. The rooms and breakfast were okay. We chose this place because of the reviews, but came away very underwhelmed. The service was among the worst we've experienced anywhere in the world.

The staff were so warm and welcoming, and made us feel right at home. It's a great choice for families, too. We found this a wonderfully peaceful, relaxing place for a Greek holiday, with magnificent views and gorgeous secluded beaches just minutes away by foot or car. The hotel pool has one of the most beautiful views we've ever experienced. A magical destination.
