Tsimpoukas Village

The apartments were very nice and clean, and the owners made us feel welcome. The location is ideal, close to the beach but far enough away that the restaurant and pedestrian street noise doesn't carry over. Having dedicated parking spaces was great, though shade for the cars would be a big plus. We highly recommend it and will definitely return.

The apartment worked well for our family of two adults and two kids, with a fully equipped kitchen and a really huge terrace. That shared grill was unbelievable! Thanks to the Tsimpoukas family for nine lovely days in Greece. Hope we can come back sometime. 👍

The green courtyard was great for the kids, and there are plenty of kitchen facilities, including an outdoor grill for meals with friends. Our room was spacious and had a covered terrace, and the location was very nice, close to the village beach. One thing to watch out for: the upstairs dorm isn’t suitable for small children. They cleaned every three days.

The stone houses are lovely, with a pretty design inside and out, and everything was very clean. It’s a quiet spot, with stores nearby, plus a microwave and coffee maker. We couldn’t quite figure out how the coffee maker worked, and the WiFi signal wasn’t always good. There was soap, but no shower gel or shampoo, which was disappointing. What bothered us most was how our three families were placed. We’d asked to stay close together, but that wasn’t arranged. Two other families who were together were also put in separate houses. It’s awkward, and can disturb other guests, to keep going back and forth when you want to eat or spend time together. The houses share a deck divided only by a see-through lattice panel, so having coffee or breakfast right beside strangers didn’t feel comfortable. We’d hoped to share a house with our friends, or at least be next door to them. I almost feel bad giving three stars because it really is a great place, but those drawbacks were annoying enough to affect our stay.
