Fodele Beach & Water Park Holiday Resort

The surprise birthday cake for my daughter was such a lovely touch. We hadn’t mentioned her birthday, so I was really impressed they prepared one. The staff were amazing, always friendly and helpful, and even carried our luggage. They also changed the beach towels daily, which made our beach days more comfortable. Fodele Resort is beautiful, very clean, and has a great beach. The food was excellent, with plenty of delicious choices every day. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back.

The service team really went out of their way to keep us happy. The waterpark was great for the kids, and a train ran up and down the hill every five minutes all day. The pools look small, but there was room for everyone, and the downstairs one was always empty. The beach is awesome, with Blue Flag status, and hardly anyone there, so it felt almost private. Food was great too. The rooms are being refurbished, which is the only reason this wouldn't have been five stars. Amazing holiday.

The Water Park on site was a huge highlight, and the place works well for families with kids as well as couples. It’s set on a peaceful hillside with wonderful views, a real escape from the bustle. Getting to other parts of the island takes some planning because it’s quite remote, so a rental car could help. If you want to switch off and relax, Fodele Beach is a great choice. The food, drinks, service, and evening shows were all top-notch, and you can just enjoy your holiday without thinking about much.

I usually like to try somewhere different, but I’d absolutely return here. It was so, so nice, and the staff throughout deserve a lot of credit. There are several good places to swim: the lively main pool, the quieter lower pool by the lovely private beach, and the water park with its own pools. Elia a la carte was our food highlight, though Basilikos, Frankie grill on the beach, and the Italian buffet were good too. Drinks were good at all the bars, from the beach and pool bars to the superb cocktails at Breeze bar. The woman at the pool bar worked relentlessly to keep everyone looked after. Amazing hotel in an amazing location.
