Artemis Rooms

The proprietor said the card payment wasn't working, but when we told her we had no cash, the terminal suddenly worked. The cappuccinos were the worst and most expensive on the island. We paid 10€ for two cappuccinos and one small water. Avoid it at all costs.

The location is the one thing this hotel has going for it. We had no water or electricity on two of our four nights, and the AC never worked properly. The owner didn't seem to care and didn't even apologize. She was also very rude. She asked us to pay in cash, saying she'd give us a better price, but the discount was only 1%. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We couldn't sleep comfortably from the first night: the mattress springs in both beds in our twin room poked into us. When we tried to raise it politely with the owner, she reacted with repeated outbursts and brushed off what we said. The beds were uncomfortable, and the hostess's behavior made the whole thing stressful. Avoid this place if you want a trouble-free holiday.

The view from the double balcony and the rooftop is breathtaking, since the hotel sits right on the square by the main viewpoint. The whole place is prettier than it looks in the Google photos or on the website, with lovely Cycladic architecture and decor. We also thought it was very good value. I highly recommend it.
