The hotel staff were very nice and helpful, and the rooms were huge and clean. We stayed four nights near the end of September. They picked us up from the port and dropped us back for the ferry, and the view was incredible. The area is very quiet, and breakfast was simple but good. Without a rental car, you'll need to call a cab or walk into town. It's about a 15-minute walk each way, rocky and uphill. We took a cab back at night for 5€ one way. If you want to stay outside town, I'd highly recommend this place.

Avaton made our visit to Folegandros extra special this year. The island has a magical atmosphere and we absolutely love it. The setting is stunning, with an easy short walk to the chora, while still feeling immersed in the island. The hosts were amazing. A real treat.

The pool and its breathtaking views were so lovely that it was hard to leave. The location is great too, a quick 10-minute walk to Chora or an easy two-minute drive if you have a car. Our room at Avaton Hotel was beautiful, spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. Everyone made us feel welcome and comfortable, going above and beyond with service. They can arrange transfers and car rentals, and offered recommendations for places to visit and eat. Greek hospitality at its best. We couldn't have asked for a better stay in Folegandros, highly recommend!

We loved the pool area for relaxing, and breakfast was fresh and thoughtfully put together. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the location felt peaceful while still being a short walk from Chora. With beautiful views, minimal design, and spotless rooms, this is one of the loveliest boutique hotels in Folegandros. We'll definitely come back!

The hotel is a real jewel for the island, with polite staff, a very nice location, and everything feeling great. The place was very clean, and the unforgettable part was living there with the endless blue right at your feet. Folegandros itself has beautiful, wild scenery, welcoming inhabitants, and very good cuisine with lovely Greek Mediterranean flavors.
