Archondissa Beach Aparthotel

It’s right on the beach, with a tidy little garden, and the nights were wonderfully quiet. Since it’s a family-run hotel, it’s not the place for people wanting to party late, which suited us just fine. Our studio was roomy, cozy, and nicely styled, with everything we needed. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. You’ll need a car or bike to get here. We’d happily return.

We had a great stay, and Marina was a huge help throughout. The garden was lovely, and having a private beach made it easy to unwind or go for a quick swim. We stayed at the end of August in the Castelli apartment, which was clean, roomy, and comfortable. Its small kitchen and fridge worked fine for breakfast, coffee, and keeping drinks cold, and there was plenty of parking. The island’s main sights were also easy to reach from here, including Fonias waterfalls, Kipos beach for scuba diving, Chora city, the ferry, and places to eat. This is a late review, but I’d recommend the place without hesitation.

Kerasia🍒 was our room, facing the sea and the sunrise. The bed was very comfortable, and both the room and its small cupboard-style kitchenette were looked after daily, as was the compact bathroom. The private beach is narrow and the shore is rocky, so water shoes are needed to get into the sea. The host has made a white path underwater that’s easy to follow. Between Feggari Mount and the sea, the setting feels like a retreat from everyday reality. Flowers, platanos, shrubs, and birds fill the garden, and each morning the birds seem to call you out to watch the sun rise over the sea. Nature really is wonderful here. Thank you, dear Polina! ❤️

We hadn’t been to the island before, and Polina helped us with the extra information we needed even before we arrived. She was a lovely host. The place itself is quiet, with large, clean rooms, distinctive decorations, and a great view of the sea. There are shady spots in the garden to get out of the Greek sun. The island has plenty to explore, from the coast to waterfalls with clear, cold spring water where you can take a cold dip or sunbathe in the mountains. We also had the best feta saganaki and goat meat we’ve eaten in Greece.
