Notos Villas

VILLAS NOTOS is a convenient base in Frangokastelo, just a few dozen meters from the sea. The house sits by an olive grove in a carefully kept garden among palms and flowers. Inside, there’s a four-burner stove, oven, refrigerator, washing machine, air conditioning in every room, and a shower. The shop nearby sells a range of Cretan food, local farmers' produce, and ready-made items if you’d rather cook lunch yourself. Hostess Athena is friendly and pleasant, and is always ready to offer advice or help. It’s a great place for a family, with a baby feeding chair and cot available if needed. The region is a good way to get to know southern Crete, with its beaches, scenery, and traditional Cretan meals at the Tavern on the Libyan Sea coast. Villos Notos is close to the picturesque Gorge of Imbra, Aradena Gorge, Awesome Plakias Beaches, and Charismatic Hora Sfakion Town. You can get up early and be at an extraordinary blue-water beach in a couple of minutes. It’s empty in the morning, though crowded through the rest of the day.
