Sandra Apartment

We spent over a month here working remotely and exploring Lefkada. The Wi-Fi worked pretty well, with download speeds around 25 mbps/second, and the apartment had what we needed both for work and a holiday. The kitchen is fully equipped with the basics, and the balcony looks out onto nature. It’s in a peaceful traditional village where people greet you with a smile, and the host and her family made us feel like part of theirs from the moment we arrived. Katohori is well placed for exploring the island. The nearest beach is about 10 minutes away, and you can reach any beach within an hour. Lefkada has beautiful nature, waterfalls, stunning beaches, and great food. We loved our stay.

We were unsure from the Booking pictures whether this place would be worth a stay, then arrived to find a lovely surprise. Everything was brand new, spotless, and carefully thought through. The apartment is charming and very good value. Dimitris and his family were so kind and helped us throughout our arrival and stay, making sure we were comfortable. They even sent us off with a full pack of their home-grown lemons, such a sweet gesture of Greek hospitality. Staying in this small village was absolutely worth it.

The balcony has a great view and enough room to eat or work, and the Wi-Fi was stable enough for remote work at about 25Mb/s. The apartment is modern and thoughtfully equipped, with everything from a washing machine to olive oil and vinegar, so it would work well for a longer stay. It’s one of those places that’s better in person than in the photos. The village is well located for getting around the island, and the hosts are wonderful and ready to help with whatever you need. We’d recommend staying here to our friends, and would choose it again if we return to Lefkada.

We’ve stayed on six Greek islands, and this was the best apartment we’ve had. The place is the perfect size, very comfortable, and as clean as a luxury hotel. Every kitchen appliance was in great shape and worked properly. There’s also reserved parking just below the balcony. Ms. Sandra and her daughter, Eirini, were so kind and sweet.
