Zante Dolphin I Alykes

Vasso was very helpful, arranging a late checkout for our night flight and a taxi to alakanas. She even drove my sister-in-law to a chemist. Fotis and ioanna at the pool bar were lovely, and the food was great. We arrived late on Sunday, but Fotis still rustled up something for us. The woman who cleaned our apartment did a fantastic job, even with kids staying there. We had a two-bedroom place with a big balcony overlooking the pool, which got sun all day and was kept nice and clean. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay.

What a lovely surprise the room was, spacious and absolutely spotless, with a walk-in shower in the bathroom. Everything we needed was there, and Vasso and Fotis were on hand if we needed anything. Fotis and his wife ijoana gave us a really lovely welcome, and Vasso showed us to our room. We’d booked through TUI and weren’t sure what to expect. We’ve just come back from a lovely 7 days and only wish we could’ve stayed longer. The views are amazing. A big thank you to everyone for making it such a brilliant stay. We’ll be back!!!! 🌞😎xx

The pool bar is the real highlight. Fotis and Johanna serve friendly service and delicious meals and snacks all day, every day. If you don't fancy a 10 minute walk in the heat to Alikes, their food won't disappoint. I can personally recommend the Yoghurt fruit and honey and the Chicken Souvlaki. The rooms are basic, but very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is a good size, with plenty of sunbeds, so there's no need to put towels out early.

We came back to Zante Dolphin for a second visit and were glad we did. The owner, Vasos, is welcoming and checks that everything is okay whenever you see her around. She’s making improvements to the complex, and the new studios replacing the games room look good. Alykesis is lovely, with plenty of restaurants and bars, and I’d highly recommend Zante Dolphin. The pool bar is a bonus, with good quality food and great hosts in Fotis and Joanna. When it gets busy and Fotis is alone, there can be a wait, but he tries to serve everyone in arrival order. We enjoyed having our last drinks of the day there. We stayed in room 1 again, on the ground floor. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was really powerful and hot. The kitchen is very basic, though we weren’t planning to cook. The cleaning ladies came every day. It’s a nice location, though walking back from the beach can be tough on a hot day. The pool and bar make a welcome reward.
