Honeymoon Beach Studios

We loved our stay and hope to return next year. Julia and her family were wonderful hosts. When our flight was delayed, Julia’s husband patiently waited over an hour to take us to the hotel. By the time we reached Santorini, food places had closed, but Julia kindly offered to cook something for us at midnight. It’s a peaceful spot with a great location and view. Breakfast had a delicious selection, and Julia helped with any local information we needed. Perissa beach is within walking distance, and the capital is a 10-15 minute drive away. Thank you, Julia and family!

We had fresh, tasty food, including fish and Greek salad, and the staff were very friendly. It’s an affordable place near the beach, about a 5-10 minute walk or roughly 0.25 miles, though the roads are narrow and don’t have much shoulder. The rooms are small but clean, with a good strong, warm shower. The jacuzzi looks nice, but as is common in hot climates, it isn’t heated. I still prefer them warm. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The owners helped me rent a car for 20e a day. Maybe that isn’t usual, but people here really care about tourists and we felt very welcome. The sea is close by, and we mostly went there for low-cost gyro pita at 3,5e. Euro Market is a seven-minute walk, even with our seven-year-old twins. The pool is larger than it looks in the photos, towels are changed and cleaning is done every second day, and the kitchen is fully furnished. My children loved the place, especially feeding apples we brought from Poland to the three horses and a donkey. Great stay!

There are lots of restaurants, including places right on the beach, plus a supermarket and seafood restaurants with good prices. The beach is only a two-minute walk away. The bathroom water was salty, with no fresh water for washing yourself or your teeth, which was a big problem. The air-conditioning didn’t work well either, and our room was too hot.
