Agali Hotel Paxos

We had a brilliant week here. It’s easy to switch off, sit by the beach, and watch the world go by. The staff are friendly, and the food was excellent, some of the best we had on the island. Our room was cleaned daily and had a great sea view, plus a small balcony where we could sit or dry things. There were plenty of places to sit or lie by the beach and pool, so it never felt like a competition to get a good spot. The beach is stony, with clear, clean water, and it’s private. Gaios is an easy walk, about ten minutes at most. We had a car but never used it to go into town.

Even though we were there in the final days of the season, the staff gave us the same attention you’d expect in high season. Everything was neatly arranged, the rooms were clean and organized, and breakfast had plenty of delicious food. One rainy evening, the hotel treated us to a movie night with wine and meze. The staff were so welcoming. The women at the front desk took care of our booking, travel, and rentals, and really handled everything. Special thanks to Rodie, who made us feel like VIPs. Thank you, Agali staff. We’ll be back.

What made the stay special was the kind, warm-hearted team. A special thank you to both Katerinas and Rodi, whose hospitality felt so genuine and caring. The pool, beach, and food were all excellent, and our spotless, very comfortable room had an incredible sea view. Waking up to it every morning was unforgettable. The hotel sits in calm, beautiful natural surroundings that immediately put us at ease. A little paradise where nature and peacefulness meet warm people. We’ll definitely return! 🌺

Breakfast was a highlight each day, with fresh fruit, Greek yogurt and honey, homemade peanut butter, fresh bread, full English choices, and excellent coffee. We left the table happy and full. The food and cocktails were wonderful, and the saltwater pool, comfortable loungers, and private beach are just steps away. The hotel feels luxurious but still relaxed. The rooms are thoughtfully designed and have everything we needed, including a great TV, plenty of wardrobe space, limoncello and Greek sweets, quality bathroom products, and a fantastic hairdryer. The furniture is stylish, too. We could message the hotel at any hour to ask for towels, ice, taxis, or island tips, and the staff were quick and genuinely keen to help. From the warm welcome to the little details, the team clearly cares. A friend had stayed a couple of weeks before us, and Katherina had left a lovely bottle of wine and fresh fruit in our room as a thoughtful surprise. This was a 10/10 stay, made special by the staff. We can’t wait to come back.
