George and his family made fantastic hosts, and the apartment is ideally placed near the beach, restaurants, and bus stop. It's quiet and feels safe, with a lovely balcony and a great view. We had a wonderful time: the room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had great facilities. Just right for a holiday in Galissas.

This is a peaceful spot, a little apart from other places. As far as we could tell, there are only three to six restaurants around, plus a convenience store nearby, and the bus station is close too. We had such a good couple of days here. Our hosts were welcoming and lovely, even offering us fruit when we checked in. The room was clean, the AC worked well, and we liked the balcony. They even provided somewhere to hang wet swimsuits and towels, a thoughtful thing I've missed at other beach hotels. I'd definitely recommend it for a quiet vacation!

For the past 14 years, whenever we come to Galissas, Syros, we've stayed with George and Anna. It feels like visiting old friends every time, and George and his family are always so helpful. The accommodation is clean and safe, close to the beach and some great bars and restaurants. They also run a motorcycle and cart rental business.

The beach is about 300 metres away, with plenty of bars, coffee shops, and tavernas nearby. It's good value, and the host is very friendly. He can arrange rides to and from the airport or port and also has a rental center for quads, sand buggies, mopeds, and motorcycles. The room was cleaned daily. I'll definitely come back next year!

We had a really lovely, peaceful week at George Rooms in Galissas, Syros, Greece, in June 2023. The place had recently been renovated when I wrote this. Our room was cleaned daily, comfortable and quiet, with friendly service and fair prices. It's also close to everything.
