Exoristoi Nature Suites

The owner was friendly, and everything went well. We stayed in the larger suite, which was perfect for my 3 kids, with great bedding and plenty of comfort. The air conditioner was a real treat. On my other trips to Gavdos, we stayed down at sarikiniko in a small place without air Co, so this was a big upgrade and gave me the best of both worlds. Exoristi also has a touch of history. The entrance room was decorated so nicely with heirlooms from the exoristi story.

Giorgios was a great host, especially helpful when we ran into a difficult situation. He also offers a great taxi and ferry service. His boat got us to Chora Sfakion in just 45 minutes, and his dog was really nice too. The rooms are very nice, in probably the most beautiful spot on Gavdos island. 10 out of 10.

The location and views are incredibly beautiful, with a breathtaking scene day and night. It’s a lovely hotel with fewer than 10 rooms, probably the best and most expensive on the island. The owner is nice and the staff are very helpful. I had a very nice stay and do recommend it. Gavdos is a great island. The bathroom is a bit small. Mornings get really hot, and there’s no shade at all then. A sun umbrella or cotton or linen curtain could fix that, as I’ve seen at other island Hotels. A bigger mirror, larger waste paper bin, some glasses and a kettle for coffee would also improve the stay.

The view is so beautiful that you feel like you’re on a ship in the middle of the Mediterranean. Rooms are clean and cozy, and the beach is only a few steps away, perfect for a refreshing break from work. The internet was very reliable, even with 4 people streaming or on video calls. I spent more than a week at Exoristoi, working remotely and enjoying Gavdos. Giorgos, our host, was incredibly friendly, happy to answer any question and show me around Sarakiniko. It turned out my neighbors were remote workers too, and we sometimes worked in the same area. It felt like a digital nomads hub in paradise. Even while working, my week felt like a holiday. I’d definitely suggest this place to anyone looking for a tranquil environment. The day starts with the sun rising from the sea right in front of you, and the night begins with the moon rising from the hill of Sarakiniko. An unspoken experience!
