Pharos Apartments

The view from this beautiful apartment was amazing, and it’s right near the port in a very central spot. Walking there without bags is easy. With luggage, though, the hill makes the walk tough, despite maps showing it as only ten minutes.

The terrace at studio 8 was a lovely place for breakfast, with two areas offering sun and shade. Sitting on the deckchairs and looking out to sea was one of the best parts of this beautiful studio and its stunning views. Hot water takes a while to arrive, as we were told, but the rain shower itself was great. It’s about a five-minute walk from town. With our case, the steep hill was hard at first, but we found a route with a few less-steep steps down to the restaurants. We could reach the host on WhatsApp, which was handy. My one suggestion, as a woman, would be to add a bedroom mirror. I’d highly recommend Pharos Apartments.

We found Pharos Apartments an ideal base in Andros. It’s tucked away with beautiful sea views, yet only a few minutes on foot from the Gavrion market, cafes, and restaurants. The flats were very clean, the beds comfortable, and everything was well equipped. If you want to stay near the port in Andros, this is the place.

The stay was great, and we’d choose this place again. It’s peaceful, clean, and has a beautiful view, so we felt relaxed. A small beach is just 3/4 minutes down the hill, with clean water that’s easy to swim in. Athina was a very good host, reachable on WhatsApp and ready to help. We stayed 8 nights, and the salty water for brushing our teeth and showering started to bother us a little. Also, basic supplies like sugar, dish soap, salt, and garbage bags weren’t there when we arrived. I think it would be nice for guests to find those in the apartment.
