The quiet setting and calm, clear beach were among the few things we liked. The town wasn't far and had a nice atmosphere, with plenty of local places to eat. We went there for meals because the hotel food was a mess. The buffet room felt bare, with about ten tables inside and a few outside. It never looked appealing, food was often gone, and it could take ages to be replaced, if it came back at all. The food itself was mostly tasteless, though okay. Service was one star: no one seemed to care when dishes ran out, and staff rarely smiled or spoke to guests. Our room was okay, but the build quality was poor and it wasn't very clean. The pool area was okay and actually quite enjoyable. The bar was a mess too. They used syrup and odd products in cocktails, and drinks were wildly inconsistent. I ordered a gin soda and got plain soda. The next day I got a glass full of gin with just a little soda on top. Reception apparently opens at 11am, so there was nobody to help with check-in or check-out at night or early in the morning. Some guests waited all night for someone to arrive, but no one showed up until 7am when breakfast started. We had a 7:30 flight, waited and called with no answer. A buffet worker said “1 minute,” then disappeared and never came back. We left our key at reception and went. There are much nicer, more comfortable places around for similar prices. Don't go there.

The resort has potential. It's small, in a quiet part of the island, and a village with shops, taverns and a bus stop is nearby. The beach is clean and quiet, the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, and the food tastes okay. But the four-star label didn't match our experience. The grounds were badly maintained and dry, with unfinished work all around: cables coming out of the ground, incomplete paving and a collapsed fence behind the buildings. The rooms seemed to have been renovated quickly and cheaply. Amenities were basic, and some were missing, like a bedside table. Sheets and towels were stained. Water leaked from the shower when it hit the glass, and the stair rail looked like metal but was plastic and very wobbly, not properly screwed in. Food choices were very limited. When something ran out, it took a long time to refill, or it never came back. Breakfast opened without all the food ready, and hungry guests sometimes circled with empty plates waiting for things like bread. Staff watched, but were slow and poorly organised. The snack bar was the worst: hardly anything to eat, just sausage rolls that were a few days old, a little fruit including a moldy apple, and ice cream, along with one coffee machine and some drinks. Cleanliness in the public areas wasn't good. The glass railing was covered in fingerprints, reception seats and sofas were stained white, possibly from sea salt or sweat from earlier guests, and the floors were sometimes dirty. The beach beds were only by the pool, not on the beach. It was a disappointment, and we wouldn't return.

A peaceful hotel for anyone wanting a break from mass tourism. It's about 100 m from a beautiful beach and a 10-15 minute walk from Gennadi town. Our modern room was cleaned every day. The food was simple and fresh, and the staff were friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

The resort is small and tucked into a quiet part of Rhodes, with a village nearby, so it doesn't feel crowded. It has plenty of potential, but the service was really poor and the stay was a disappointment from day one. Food choices were limited, and there were no proper snacks at the bar. Drinks came from syrup bottles into glasses full of ice, and they didn't even offer proper coke. If ketchup or coffee ran out, it could be gone for two days. We were constantly having to ask for basics like a clean table, a mopped wet floor or clean cutlery. The glasses and cutlery were dirty, as if they hadn't been washed properly. Restaurant service was sometimes okay but often very slow. At breakfast, staff collected dishes without cleaning the tables. The beach nearby is lovely and quiet, but there are no shades or seats there. You have to go about 50 m farther and pay for them. The rooms seemed to have been done quickly and cheaply, with unfinished details such as an upside-down toilet roll holder and wobbly plastic stair rails that weren't properly fixed. Room cleanliness was quite good, and they were cleaned twice a day. The pool was fine, though its surroundings weren't cleaned every day. We ended up going to local shops and restaurants to get decent food and buy drinks.

We stayed in August as a family of four and found a lovely hotel right by the beach, with four beautiful pools. The staff were kind and helpful, and the location was convenient: the pebble beach is about 100 m away, and lively Gennadi is a 10-15 minute walk. It's a quaint, authentic village in the countryside, away from city lights. There's an affordable, reliable bus to the capital from the main road. Our room had modern furnishings, effective air conditioning, a comfortable double bed and a double sofa bed for the kids. There was also a TV, fridge, kettle for self-catering, and a good choice of coffee and tea. The bathroom had a large shower and hairdryer. Out back was a garden with a table, four chairs and a drying rack. Meals were plentiful and fresh, with food replenished throughout. There were fresh salads, main dishes, kid-friendly choices, desserts, fruit, self-serve ice cream and always a Greek specialty. Water, juice, beer and wine were self-service. The pool bar served snacks from 10 to 18 and drinks until 23. A winner for us.
