The view from this house is stunning, and the whole place felt peaceful and perfect for unwinding. Alexandra was such a kind, helpful host. We had everything we needed, so we could just enjoy our holiday. I'm really glad we picked it 💓

It feels homey, with a Mediterranean character. The hotel isn't especially luxurious, but that wasn't the impression it gave.

Alexandra was the highlight of our stay at 1891 Home in Kefalas. She was warm, generous, quick to respond and thoughtful, even leaving groceries and wine in the fridge. We felt welcome and looked after from the start. She deserves 10 stars from us. The house itself is full of character, comfortable, spotless and beautifully cared for. We loved spending time in the quiet outdoor area, with its lovely views and Cretan feel. Kefalas is peaceful and authentic, and made a great base for Chania, Rethymno and the beaches of Apokoronas. Everything was just right. We'd happily come back and recommend the place without hesitation.
