The apartment was in a great spot for our two-week stay, and we really liked the terrace. Going down the stairs was difficult for us, though. The handrail was only a rope and wasn't firm, and we're both 75. We’d love to return next year, and sincerely hope it can be replaced. We had very good interactions with several people: Andreas' sister, who manages Mikes Apartment and works in the clothing shop downstairs; Catherine, who owns the pizzeria across the street; and the owner of the taverna 20 meters away. A VERY PLEASANT STAY.

I always enjoy coming back to Mike's apartment for a quiet, stress-free holiday. It's a typical holiday apartment, clean and set up for self-catering, with a small kitchen. The sea is just two minutes away, and there are several tavernas around Georgioupoli where you can eat very well. One local rule takes getting used to: toilet paper doesn't go down the toilet, in line with Greek standards. It sounds odd to someone from Germany, but it's not like home.
