Nereid Villa, summer feeling, By ThinkVilla

The villa's outdoor spaces were the best part for me: quiet, nicely laid out, and looking out over both the mountains and the sea. It's just moments from the water and close to Rethymno, in a location that's hard to beat. A special place to slow down and enjoy the natural surroundings.

The pool was the highlight of our villa stay on Episkopi beach in Rethymno. It was spotless and impressive, a lovely place for quiet time or an evening with friends. The hot tub made it feel like a private spa, with the Cretan landscape around us and the sea audible in the background. Everywhere was clean and very well maintained. The villa is comfortable and stylish, and the care shows in the decor and amenities. We also liked the location, which gave us privacy while keeping the sea, restaurants, and other nice spots nearby. The sea view felt magical, especially at sunset, and the whole place was wonderfully relaxing and luxurious. It exceeded our expectations and was one of the best places we've stayed in Crete. We'd definitely like to return.

A lovely place for a holiday, and a handy base for reaching the sightseeing spots. The location is peaceful, with sheep grazing around the house, and the barbecue was excellent. The sea-facing pool and whirlpool were the villa's best features. The rooms were smaller than I expected but adequate, and all the necessary electrical appliances were there. The walk toward the sea and tavernas is quite dangerous for the first few metres. At the beach, though, the sun loungers are free, the service is excellent, and the food and drinks are good.
