The village is charming, with two fantastic tavernas just a short walk away. And the villa itself is stunning, even better than the photos, with comfortable beds, lovely décor, and great outdoor spaces. Manolis was an exceptional host. He had the fridge stocked for our arrival and even brought over his mother's homemade moussaka. Nothing was too much trouble. It's the best holiday home we've ever stayed in, and we'll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

This was our second stay in Villa Manolis, and I can definitely recommend one of Manolis's villas for a holiday in Crete. Villa Manolis in Alikambos sits on a hill with amazing mountain views. It's well equipped for pretty much anything, whether you're making dinner, heading to the beach, hiking, or having a BBQ. Manolis, who hosts Villa Manolis and Villa Maria, is kind and attentive, ready to help with any concerns and happy to listen if you need something.

Manolis speaks excellent English and seems happy to help with anything. We stayed in Villa Manolis, a comfortable two-bedroom place with air conditioning throughout, Wi-Fi, a TV, a DVD player, and its own private pool with a fantastic mountain view. The village is small, but the beach at Georgiopolis and Lake Kournas are just a 15-20 minute drive away. You'll need to hire a car.

The owner went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. Even though he lives quite far away, he welcomed us himself despite our late arrival, and checked in several times during the stay. The beds were made with fresh linens and towels, and there were useful food and drinks waiting in the fridge. He also gave us great tips for trips and restaurants. The accommodation was beautifully organized, very good value, and the owner was extremely kind and helpful. We don't take this level of service for granted. Thank you for everything!
