Stunning Lake Kournas Retreat 2 New Private Pool

The pool was a great place to unwind, with lovely views, and it’s large enough to relax in while listening to music or having something to eat and drink. The lake is right above the apartment, about a 10-minute walk away, and swimming there was a lot of fun. Taberna Ambrosia is only 10 meters away, with really good food, friendly service, and affordable prices. We arrived to refreshments and snacks, and the apartment was perfectly clean and smelled fresh. It’s a good size, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Niko had sent useful information about nearby places before we arrived and was really kind. I also had to work during the holiday because of some issues, and the internet was excellent for email, Teams video calls, and sharing content from the cloud. I’d give it a 10 and would definitely come again. The only downside is that it’s a bit far from Elafonisi, Balos, and Samaria Gorge.

The facilities were clean, well equipped, and close to local attractions and amenities. We also loved the villa and its location. Our host went out of his way to give us an authentic experience of Greece, making us feel safe, relaxed, and cared for throughout the trip. My family keeps saying how much they loved Greece and Lake View, and that this was their best holiday. They’re already asking when we can come back. We’re looking forward to returning and telling others about the trip. 😀

The villa had beautiful rooms and a lovely pool, and its position above the lake gave us an unbelievable view. Nikos was such a good host, always ready to help and make our stay pleasant. His local knowledge was a big help, too. If you want to get away from the all-inclusive crowds, this is a great place. Thanks, Nikos, we’ll definitely be back.

The sunrise over Lake Kournas was my favourite part. From the pool decks, you can watch the hired pedalos move slowly across the calm water, with the mountains all around. It feels like a painting coming to life. The apartments are clean, neatly presented, and set on a lovely rural mountainside. They’re equipped with everything we needed, including a Bluetooth speaker, and the views make an impression as soon as you arrive. Most of all, I want to mention our host, Nikolas. He cared about our comfort and experience, and often went beyond what was expected to make sure our expectations were met. My family and I were really struck by that. His steady attitude and his usual line, “We’ll figure it out,” will stay with me as an inspiration. It’s hard to sum up the whole stay in one word, but “ethereal” comes close. I’m extremely grateful to you, Nikolas.
