Martha's Haus Hotel

We had a lovely time here. The kids enjoyed the visit, and my child's face says it all 🙂 The food was great and the staff were too. The rooms and children's playground could use some renovation, but we might come back next summer.

The food was tasty and good, though the selection was limited. At the beach, the sand is nice, but the stretch is small, and the loungers normally cost extra. They didn't charge us since it wasn't busy. The seaweed can be a lot, especially when wind brings more in. Rooms are roomy and have air conditioning, and they're clean, though there's a damp smell when the AC is off. To me, the place feels closer to three stars than four, and the rooms could use renovation.

We won't be coming back. The hotel is overpriced, and I would NEVER recommend it, especially for what it costs. The beach is pebbly and poorly maintained, and they charge 10 euros for a sun lounger on their private beach. The playground was in such poor shape that it seemed unsafe for our kids. Inside, the rooms are in bad condition and nowhere near four-star standards. WiFi is poor, the TV has only a couple of channels, the air conditioning isn't adequate, and there are mosquitoes. Food is mostly vegetarian, repetitive, mediocre, and short on variety. The quiet, secluded setting is a plus, but the owner is very rude. When you complain, you're told you're wrong, and requests don't get handled. Reply to the hotel's comment: Yes, we told you about all these problems last year, and we also wrote a long letter to our travel agent. It did no good.

My spouse and I spent seven days at Marthas House Hotel in Greece this summer and had a fantastic stay. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the food was fresh, varied, and well prepared every time. The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere, too. We didn't have any complaints and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely vacation spot.
