I loved the hotel and its staff. The restaurant is great, the pool is big, and the beach is a one-minute walk away. No rental sun chairs on that beach, which keeps it really calm. 6/5 toasts.

We had breakfast included during our week here. The food was absolutely delicious, especially dinner from the a la carte menu on the days we ate there. Great quality, generous portions, and amazing prices, plus the plates looked beautiful. Definitely worth trying! Hotel Creta Sun was lovely, clean, and quiet, just right for a relaxing break. It's basically right on its own beach with sun-beds. At night, with the balcony door open, we could hear the sea from our room. The little kitchenette was really useful, with pretty much everything needed for a small meal or snack in the room or on the peaceful balcony. Everyone on staff was so welcoming, polite, and kind. They added even more to the nice atmosphere and our stay. Thanks for the hospitality, and maybe we'll see you again. We'd happily recommend this quiet, beautiful place. ❤️

The restaurant was a highlight, with excellent food and friendly, attentive staff. Reception and management were accommodating too. There’s a bus stop right outside the hotel, and the schedule for buses to Chania is reasonable and convenient for exploring. The hotel sits in a charming, peaceful area near a beach that wasn't crowded. From the balcony, we had lovely views of both the mountains and sea. Our room was clean and the beds very comfortable, so we had a pleasant stay.

The cleaning team did a wonderful job, always smiling, friendly, and thorough. Maria in the restaurant deserves a special mention too. She was professional and kind, and made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. From the day we arrived, everyone greeted us so warmly that it felt like joining a family. The hotel has a relaxed, homely feel. Big thanks to all the staff for making our holiday such a pleasure. I can highly recommend Hotel Creta Sun, Gerani, and I'm already looking forward to coming back!

I really can't find anything negative to say. Management and staff were great, our room was excellent, and the cleaning was impeccable. There are several markets and restaurants within walking distance. When the restaurant had to close for two days because of technical problems, we still had a great breakfast in the garden and got a free BBQ buffet lunch as compensation. Great service!
