Tasos Cottages

These cottages are under 100 metres from Gerani Beach, and they have the basics you need for a short stay. They’re clean and tidy, and the hosts are more than helpful. Simple, and great value for money. Five stars all the way.

Tasos Cottages made for a wonderful stay. The cottage was well equipped and had two terraces in a shady spot. The owners also run a very good taverna 300 meters away, where they give cottage guests a warm welcome.

We felt comfortable here all week. The hosts are so kind and treat you like friends. When the bathroom faucet broke, they fixed it right away. Our sheets and towels were changed twice during our stay, and we really felt looked after. :)

We were delighted with our stay in this charming Greek cottage. The five of us had a five-person cottage, room number 4. It’s not brand new, as you can see from the walls, but we wanted to get a feel for Crete, and we did. We’re not fussy eaters, so all of us were happy, and the price was great. The house had everything we needed, including a lovely patio, sun loungers, a stove, and an oven. We got along very well with the owner. It was cleaned every two days, with towels and sheets changed each time. The sea and a grocery store were very close, and Lidl was nearby. It’s a good base for exploring western Crete. I don’t know what other apartments this host has. We met the hostess, who runs a pub 300 meters from the cottage. She was wonderful and very friendly. After dinner, the kids got ice cream, and we got a bottle of ouzo. We also received a bottle of wine. When our coffee machine broke, a replacement arrived within 20 minutes. Communication through Booking.com was great.
