Ikaros Star Hotel

You’ll need a car to get around, and parking spaces are limited, but we still had a memorable stay of nearly six days. We didn’t get to see every sight and would happily come back. Set on a valley slope, this family-run hotel has beautiful views and a welcoming, home-like feel. The owner gives guests personal attention, helping with day trips, tips, and routes. The rooms have dated decor, but they’re clean and include A/C, a TV, and a small fridge. Breakfast was decent; the owner’s wife greeted us warmly, and we could take our trays to our balconies. The hotel has all the necessary amenities and an unbeatable view. We’d recommend it for a vacation.

The sea view is amazing, and the place is clean and quiet. There’s parking, a 24-hour reception, and directions for getting to places of interest. Nice, calm beaches are very close, and even on windy days they’re free of kids.

Breakfast was a perfect start to the day, and the friendly staff were helpful throughout. The hotel and rooms are clean, the view is great, and there’s ample parking on site. Its location is convenient for reaching the main roads and getting anywhere on the island. We’ll most definitely return. Thanks for a great stay.

We were there for two weeks at the end of September 2022 and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is well maintained, clean, and staffed by very nice, helpful people. The bay view is amazing, and we’d choose it again. We liked staying in Gialiskari more than in the much more touristy Armenistis. It’s less crowded, nearer to the better of the twin beaches, Mesakti, and still has what a tourist might need, including restaurants, car rental, and supermarkets.
