We came for four days because some Cretan friends were getting married nearby in Kokkini Chani. The place is away from the road, so we didn’t hear traffic, and it’s close to Herakleion by car or public transport. The gardens are beautiful, with flowers Mr Manousos planted and looks after day by day. Our rooms were cleaned daily and had everything needed for a comfortable, cozy stay that felt luxurious without costing too much. What I’ll remember most is how we were welcomed on the first night. We were treated to a BBQ and grill with local products, and shared a table, drinks, laughter, kind hearts and sincere wishes. Their care for what they do feels like a pleasure, not just work. Mr Giannis, Dimitris, Eleni and Manousos run a family business that made us feel at home, almost in paradise. Highly recommended for unforgettable memories. I love you!

The beach is quite close, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. A great place to stay, and well worth it.
