The hosts are what make Kalderimi special. Xenophon and Elizabeth are warm from the moment you arrive and really care about making your stay memorable. The beds are comfortable, and breakfast is generous and delicious too. Set in a small, charming Pelion village, the house is surrounded by nature and looks out over the Aegean. Quiet, peaceful, and a lovely home away from home.

After a long journey, Ms. Elizabeth and Mr. Xenofon welcomed us with two kind, charming ladies, all smiling and treating us like old friends. They even brought us a delicious breakfast to help us recover, though it was nearly noon. The welcome, rooms, food, atmosphere, and care all felt like a perfect 10. There’s a wonderful view of the Aegean, homemade food, and the two ladies make sure guests are comfortable and have what they need. Mornings were lovely: coffee, fresh juice, plenty of tasty food, quiet music, sunlight across the house and yard, and the sea in the background. The area has great beaches, taverns, cafes, and little shops. Calderimi Country House has a special style and charm, and the spirit of Greece is here. We’ll gladly return. It’s hard to forget a place that gets into your heart. Dear people, stay well and keep going, you’ve made a place for the soul and should be proud. The hosts made us feel so welcome, and the rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable. It's a peaceful home away from home, with open sea views and a great position for visiting the beautiful beaches and nearby villages. You can walk to the charming square in Mouresi, which has a good taverna, a beautiful church, and a playground. Couldn't recommend it more!

The breakfast was generous, varied, homemade, and delicious, but leave room for the local restaurants around Mouresi, Tsagkarada, and Kissos. We were very happy at Kalderimi. It feels quiet, cozy, and tucked away, with a high-quality feel. The view from our room was gorgeous, and the bed was so comfortable I kept falling asleep as soon as I lay down. Xenafon is a terrific host, easy to talk to, smart, and accommodating. Pelion is wonderful.

The garden breakfast was a treat, with fresh orange juice, handmade pies, a sea view, and jazz music. Kalderimi feels like a real country house, and we felt very welcome. The staff were helpful, and the rooms were spotless, with quality furniture, linens, and everything we needed. Just know the short road up is unpaved and sloped. If you want a sterile, hotel-like setting, this may not be for you.
