Evdokia Suites

We had such a lovely stay here. The pool is a good size for swimming and very clean, just like the freshly renovated rooms. Everyone on staff was warm and super friendly. A special thank you to Katarina. I highly recommend staying here!

At this lovely boutique hotel, Katarina, Anthony and the team make you feel welcome. It’s 50m from the beach, west of central Gouves. The grounds are beautifully kept, and the food, drinks and service are all great. The atmosphere is relaxed, and you don’t have to race for a sunbed. If you’re after loud music and entertainers, this isn’t the place; for a peaceful stay, give it a try.

We’re already looking forward to coming back. Kate and Adam were kind and professional, and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was up to the standard of the accommodation, while lunch at the pool bar turned out even better than going to a restaurant outside. Our second-floor room had a spacious veranda with a panoramic view of the pool and lush green outdoor areas. The rooms are clean and have all the comforts you need. It’s peaceful and relaxing, an ideal spot for families, though there’s no children’s pool. There is a small playground.

Evdokia suites was a quiet little oasis of flowers close to the beach and boulevard. We had a wonderful week, with spacious, clean, air-conditioned rooms and really comfortable beds, firm but not too hard. The staff were lovely from arrival to departure, always friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and great for cooling off, and the bar made excellent drinks and bites. We haven’t explored all of Gouves or the rest of Crete yet, so we’ll definitely be back.
