The quiet setting was the only real plus. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the main center, so evenings were peaceful enough to rest. But the stay was very uncomfortable. There was no hand soap or sanitising gel, which seemed especially odd during COVID-19, and part of the shower door was missing, so water flooded the bathroom whenever I showered. At check-in, the manager said the main electricity wasn’t working and they’d put in two bedside lamps instead. The price was for a fully working apartment, and after a day at the beach I shouldn’t have had to clean up a bathroom full of water. Very overrated.

We had a room on the third floor with a large balcony and a great view, though the lower floor rooms may not have views as good. The building looks nice and the rooms were clean. There’s kitchenette equipment, but somehow there wasn’t even a corkscrew or bottle opener?!

The rooms were clean, but the furniture and bathroom are very old, and there was no sign of maintenance. Service was lacking too. The concierge was only there when we arrived; we didn’t see him again, and at checkout we just left the key at the entrance. An average hotel.

The owner gave us a special discount because we’re regulars, and we were very satisfied. The location is one of the best on Poror. The room and bathroom were clean, though the room felt a little old-fashioned.
