John Mary Apartments

The owner was friendly, and the apartment was quiet and close to shops and beaches. Our studio was spacious, with the basic kitchen utensils supplied. The bins were the only thing we took out ourselves. They cleaned the place just once during the week. Otherwise, it was nice staying here.

Mary and John are lovely, hospitable hosts. They have a dog and a few cats. The rooms were clean and fairly comfortable, including the bed. The location is great, near the beach, shops and bars. Wi-Fi was weak in the rooms but good around the pool. One drawback is that air conditioning costs 6 euros a day, and at this time of year you really need it.

If you’re after a relaxing holiday, JohnMary is a wonderful place to stay. The owners are lovely and always happy to help, and the apartments are spotlessly clean. There’s a beautiful pool area with plenty of sun loungers. My partner and I will definitely be back. Thank you, Nikki and Mikalis.

The location is excellent, just 100 m from the beach, and the apartment was very clean. There’s a small kitchen if you want to prepare your own meals, since eating out is very expensive. The hotel also has a small pool and sunbed area, though I’d recommend heading to the beach instead. The water is warm and often wavy, which is more fun than staying by the hotel. The air conditioning costs 6 euros per day, which doesn’t seem fair. At the end of the day it’s impossible to sleep without it, like being in a sauna. We had to leave all the windows open, but that didn’t help, and mosquitoes came in and bit us all night. I think air conditioning should be included at no extra cost. Even so, I recommend the place for its location and clean rooms.
